CEO Justin Galliford has paid tribute to her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
It follows an announcement by Buckingham Palace yesterday evening around 6.30pm (Thursday 8 September) confirming Queen Elizabeth II passed away peacefully at Balmoral in Scotland.
Justin Galliford said: “It is a sad day for our country. As the longest-serving monarch in British history, Her Majesty has shown tremendous dedication and energy in serving her country, becoming a much loved and respected figure.
“Her devotion to duty during her 70-year reign has been inspirational to many worldwide.
On behalf of the Norse Group, our Joint Ventures, and our wider customers, we join the nation in offering our thoughts and sincere condolences to the Royal Family.”
