Our response to the Covid-19 pandemic – 13 November 2020
During challenging times, with a fantastic team effort and the support of our residents, tenants, their families and friends, we continue to safely manage our homes and housing with care schemes, while responding to updated Government advice.
Staying in touch: Visiting is a vital part of our residents’ and tenants’ wellbeing, and that of their families and friends. At NorseCare we continue to support safe visiting, with indoor and outdoor visiting allowed. In line with local and national advice, there will be times when we must temporarily pause visiting in one of our homes, to keep people safe. Every effort is made to lift short-term visiting limits as soon as possible, and our staff help people to keep in touch with video calling and phone calls.

Infection control: All of our homes have a supply of personal protective equipment (PPE) and are regularly trained to ensure infection prevention and control measures are strictly followed.
Testing: In line with Government guidance, and to ensure everyone’s safety within our residential care homes, all of our staff are tested for Covid-19 each week and our residents are tested every 28 days.
Health and wellbeing: We remain committed to offering personalised, innovative and engaging entertainment and wellbeing programmes for our residents.
