Holding hands at last – watch emotional moment as mother and daughter reunited at NorseCare home
A mother and daughter have spoken of their joy at being reunited, holding hands for the first time in over a year.
Eileen Leah and her daughter Sharon were overcome with emotion, as the pair met at Sydney House care home last month, in the village of Stalham at the heart of the Norfolk Broads.
Following recent changes in Government guidance, NorseCare helped to facilitate the visit, with many other families also being able to hold their loved one’s hand once again through our latest visiting policy.
After receiving a lateral flow test, Sharon was required to wear PPE throughout the visit, with her 100-year-old mother describing the occasion as ‘wonderful’.
