NorseCare to provide nursing care at All Hallows care home with nursing

We are pleased to confirm that from today, 18th July 2019, care and support will be provided by NorseCare at All Hallows care home with nursing on St John’s Road in Bungay, North Suffolk.

As Norfolk’s largest care provider, we support to over 1,400 people in care homes and housing with care schemes, and were the preferred care provider when the All Hallows Healthcare Trust were seeking a new care provider.

Residents at the home will be supported by approximately 70 members of staff, many of whom were previously employed by the All Hallows Healthcare Trust, who will now be employed by us. There are 50 rooms at the home which will provide full-time care with nursing as well as short term, respite care.

Karen Knight, NorseCare’s Managing Director welcomed the announcement: “We are delighted to welcome All Hallows to our family of care homes. We appreciate that it has been a worrying time for residents, their families, the staff and the local community, but this is really good news for everyone. The majority of the staff at All Hallows will remain the same, so residents will continue to receive care from people they know and are comfortable with. We are now looking forward to working closely with everyone and to bringing much-needed nursing care support to people in the Bungay area and wider local community. We will be arranging events so that people can come and meet us and find out more about us and the home. NorseCare has a well-deserved reputation for high quality care and we will ensure that this continues at All Hallows.”

Andrew Proctor, Leader of Norfolk County Council who own NorseCare, expressed his pleasure: “Its great news that NorseCare will be providing care at All Hallows. There is a growing demand for quality nursing care placements across the country and NorseCare’s record for well-run care facilities in Norfolk has been excellent.”
