Kate Grange, our Dementia Care Lead has won a national dementia care award at a ceremony in Brighton. She won the Best Dementia Care Lead award for her support and management of dementia care across our homes and housing with care schemes in Norfolk.
Tenants living at The Lawns Housing with Care scheme in Great Yarmouth have been working on a wonderful integrational project with pupils from Northgate Primary School. Children from the school have been visiting the scheme and working with the tenants to make hundreds of poppies to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the end of the First World War. The poppies are made from the bottoms of plastic bottles, sprayed with red paint, a black middle and finished off with a black stem.
Rosie Bell, 71, and Barry Williamson, 84, celebrated their marriage at Redmayne View housing care scheme in Sprowston, Norwich on Saturday 20th October, following an official ceremony at a local church, the previous Wednesday.
Exceptional performances from staff at NorseCare were recognised at their annual awards. 250 care staff and representatives from NorseCare gathered at the Open venue in Norwich where the finalists and winners in 9 categories were announced.
